City Mobile Storytelling: Stories from China
Edited by Xiaoge Xu
In the context of the growing popularity of mobile communication and the increasing global efforts to achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals proposed by the United Nations, the unique governance model and sustainable development of Chinese cities have become the focus of world attention. How Chinese cities leverage mobile media, strengthen mobile communication and enhance city storytelling is especially worth sharing. Professor Xiaoge Xu from the University of Nottingham Ningbo has proposed to publish an edited book City Mobile Storytelling: Stories from China as a volume of his Mobile Storytelling Series.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following: city governance, development, tourism, entertainment, sports, education, economy, culture, health, new immigrants, migrant workers, expats, maids, delivery men, the elderly, minors, and students.
It can be a story without being published anywhere earlier or a story previously published online. In the latter case, a written permission for re-publication from its publisher should be obtained before it can included in an edited book. Please indicate the title, author's name, affiliation, email and other information on the first page. The submitted stories should be submitted in the form of E-mail attachment. Please use the standardized filename: city mobile storytelling- studies from China-author name-affiliation.
Deadline for submission: December 15, 2021
Deadline for notification of acceptance: December 31, 2021
